In Q-Sensei Logs every deployment has its own User Management. Account administrators and deployment manager can add and remove users as needed. You can change user access permissions at any time.
To go to the User Management of a specific deployment log in to Q-Sensei Logs and select the deployment in the left navigation menu. Then click on the link “User Management”. On the User Management page you get an overview over the users of the deployment, including confirmed and pending users.
Add new users
To add users, click on the “Add User” button on the User Management page. Add the email address of the user you want to invite and select the role of the new user. Click “Save” to send an invitation email to the new user.
The invitation link will be valid for 1 day. If a user didn´t accept the invitation within that time you can resend the invitation by clicking on the resend icon .
They have full access to the Manager UI and Analytical UI.
Super Admins can add other users to any deployment.
Super Admins can edit other user roles, invite new users, and resend invitation emails.
Admins have to be explicitly given permission to access a specific deployment.
Only when they are given permission, can they access the Manager UI for those deployments.
Admins can invite new users to the deployments and resend invitation emails.
Analytics users have access to all the functionalities on the Analytical UI.
They do not have access to the Manager UI.
Edit User Role
To edit the role of a user, click on the edit icon on the User Management page. Use the dropdown to select the new role and click “Save”.
Delete a User
To delete a user from a deployment, click on the delete icon on the User Management page. Confirm that you really want to delete the user.
Deleting users form a deployment only affects this deployment. If users are allowed to see or manage other deployments in your Q-Sensei Logs application, they still have the permission to do so. To delete a user from all deployment select the checkbox in the delete popup.
